  • Do I need to pay a deposit to rent a camera or any other equipment?

    No, we do not collect any security deposit.

  • How do I rent equipment from Bokehdotz?

    Once you accept our terms and conditions,

    1. Login to your account on www.bokehdotz.com
    2. Select the equipment
    3. Pay the full amount or booking amount (40% of the rent)
    4. Pick up the equipment from our store. You can also opt for home delivery.

    If you are borrowing equipment from us for the first time, it will mandatorily be home delivered (as part of the address verification process). You will be charged INR 200 for this service. The full rental must have been paid before the pickup/home delivery.

    Make sure you return the borrowed equipment on time.

  • I am unable to book online. Are there any other options available?

    After you register with us, you can call us on +91-95 13 11 13 11 during our working hours to book.

  • How do you calculate the equipment rent?

    A typical one-day renting will work as follows:

    • Start day of the rental: Jan 02, 2023
    • End day of the rental: Jan 02, 2023
    • Home delivery of the equipment: Jan 01, 2023 (between 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.)
    • Return of the equipment: Jan 03, 2023 (between 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.)
  • Can I reserve equipment well in advance?

    Yes, you can reserve our equipment up to 90 days in advance.

  • How does cancellation work?

    If a booking is cancelled one week or more before the delivery date, the full amount paid will be refunded. If the cancellation is made within the week of the delivery date, a cancellation fee of 40% will be applied and deducted from the amount paid.

  • Can I renew the rental?

    Yes, if there are no other pre-bookings.

  • Are you open on Sundays?

    Yes, we are open on Sundays.

  • How do you deal with delay in return of borrowed equipment?

    In case you are not able to return the equipment on time due to unavoidable circumstances, please keep us informed.

    Our policy as per our terms and conditions, in case of a delay is as follows:

    If we do not receive the rented items within 72 hours of the end of the rental period, and if the borrower is not reachable via phone, we will initiate a recovery procedure. This will include handing over the case to our legal team, filing an FIR with the cyber cell, booking a case of Section 420, publishing the picture of the borrower on our website and other social media platforms. We will also use the services of a private investigator to track the person and the items down.
